Test Pattern & Selection Procedure of SanDisk

Sandisk, Western Digital brand, is an industry of semiconductor, headquartered in Milpitas, CA (US). Founded in 1988, the company is a manufacturer of flash memory products which includes USB flash drives, memory cards, solid state drives, etc.
Selection Process:
The company conducts recruitment process every year to select new candidates. The selection process of the company consists of 4 rounds. These rounds are as follows:
  • Written Exam
  • Technical Interview I
  • Technical Interview II
  • HR Interview
Academic Criteria:
  • Minimum requirement 60 percent throughout (Class X, XII , Graduation).
Pattern of Written Exam:

The Sandisk test Pattern contains the following sections:

The total time allotted to the written exam is different for different sections.
Details:
  • Aptitude section consists of questions based on data interpretation, graphs, blood relations, statement reasoning, etc. Also, there are questions from basic mathematics like time, speed & distance, algebra, arithmetic, permutation & combination, etc. Further, there are questions are from English language like grammar usage, fill in the blanks, reading  comprehensions etc.

  • Technical section involved questions from core subjects of Mechanical, electrical and civil engineering. This section was tough and required thorough preparation. A person whose basics are clear could easily excel in this section.

  • Coding section consists of questions from the basic programming language.
Overall the level of the paper is moderate to difficult. Only those candidates who clear the written exam will qualify for the next round.
