The written exam conducted by Maruti Suzuki for selection is moderate. The exam has around 110 questions from Aptitude, Technical and Psychometric sections with a total time allotment of 72 minutes in total. Aptitude section (around 30 questions) consists of questions on Quantitative, Logical reasoning and Verbal sections. Logical Reasoning section (around 10 questions) contains questions based on data interpretation, graphs, blood relations and statement reasoning, Conditions and Assumption based questions and logical questions. Quantitative section (around 10 questions) covers topics like basic mathematics such as time, speed & distance, algebra, arithmetic, probability, geometry, permutation & combination can also be asked. Verbal section (around 10 questions) features questions from reading comprehension, synonyms, antonyms, para jumbled words, sentence completion etc. Technical section (around 30 questions) consists of questions from SOM, IC Engine and thermodynamics, RAC, Machine Design and Metrology. Psychometric section (around 50 questions) covers behavioral questions. There is no negative marking in the paper.
