Wipro Selection Process
Wipro's recruitment procedure includes two types of screening rounds, including written tests and interviews. These assessments are designed to the viability of a particular candidate's job application and their eligibility for the relevant job profile. The complete process focuses on the candidate's abilities, knowledge, skills, experience, and various other related factors. Here is a glimpse of various stages of Wipro recruitment process:

Eligibility Criteria for Wipro
Before appearing for the tests, make sure that you fulfil the following conditions:
Academic Criteria
  • Above 60 percent marks in X and XII
  • In graduation, candidate must score 65% or CGPA equivalent to 65% or above based on the university guidelines
  • Qualifications – B.Tech, B.E, 5-years Integrated M.Tech
  • No backlogs are allowed
  • A gap of up to three years between X and graduation is allowed for valid reasons
Wipro Test Pattern
The written test of Wipro consists of three major parts, and needs to be completed in 128 minutes. The following table shows a broad breakup of Wipro paper pattern:

Things to Note:
  • There is no negative marking in the exam
  • Students can toggle between the 2 coding questions, but not between the aptitude questions.
Wipro Exam Pattern - Detailed Description
Aptitude Test
Aptitude Test is conducted for a duration of 48 minutes. The section tests the candidate’s Verbal and Analytical Aptitude. Here is a brief of different portions of the Aptitude Test:
Verbal Ability
This section tests the candidate’s skills in English. The questions in this section are asked from the following topics-
  • Reading Comprehension
  • Vocabulary
  • Grammar
Quantitative Aptitude
The section tests the candidate’s mathematical skills. Topics that candidates must study are-
  • Applied Mathematics
  • Basic Mathematics
  • Engineering Mathematics
Logical Reasoning
The section tests the candidate’s analytical and logical ability. Questions in this section are asked from the following topics-
  • Inductive Reasoning
  • Deductive Reasoning
In this section, candidates can choose from any one of the programming languages for the coding assessment – Java, C, C++ or Python.
Written Communication Test
The writing section contains of a Essay Writing test, which is based on any situation or scenario. Candidates must write an essay on the given topic in 200-400 words. This is also a computer-based test.
Overall the level of the paper is moderate. Only those candidates who clear the written exam will qualify for the next round.
Wipro Interview Process
Wipro Interview process consists of Technical Interview and HR Interview. Following are the details of each phase:
Technical Interview
Questions related to specific technical fields are asked in this round. Questions may be based on specific knowledge about the company's technical activities; understanding of the technical work required to be completed as part of the job applied for or may enquire candidates to solve actual technical problems that they would be likely to face if employed.
HR Interview
Final step to select a candidate as an employee is Interview as it helps to determine a candidate's personality. Questions can be of wide range starting from your introduction, Qualification, Experience, Industry specific experience, Courses studied, your strengths and weaknesses, salary expectations, friends, family etc.
