The written exam conducted by Wipro for selection is of moderate difficulty. The exam has around 68 questions from Verbal, Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Technical sections with a time allotment of 95 minutes in total. In the English section (around 25 questions), the students will have to solve reading comprehensions. This section also consists of basic grammar usage questions like fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, paragraph completion, sentence completion, vocabulary, etc. The Quantitative Ability section (around 16 questions), consists of questions from the topics like algebra, time & work, time, speed & distance, arithmetic, percentages, profit & loss, geometry, etc. Reasoning section (around 14 questions) consists of questions based on puzzles, blood relations, statements & arguments, coding decoding, data interpretation. Technical section (around 12 questions) involves questions from topics like Data structure, Operating System, C & C++ programming, JAVA, LINUX, Optical Fibre, DBMS, Microprocessors, etc. In the Essay Writing section, a candidate has to write an essay on a given situation or scenario. The minimum word limit is 250 words. The scoring is to be on the basis of spell check, vocabulary used, correct sentence making. There is no negative marking in the paper.
