General Electric is an American Multnatinal corporation which provides products such as Aircraft Engines, Electric motors, locomotives, wind turbines, etc. The company was formed as a result of the merger of Edison General Electric Company and the Thomas-Houston Company in 1982. Its subsidiaries include GE Healthcare, GE Oil & Gas, GE Power & Water, GE Capital GE Transportation, GE Global Research, and GE Home & Business Solutions. In April 2015 General Electrics announced that they will be selling their unit dealing with finance operations. Their values are the amalgamation of Imagination, Expertise, Clear Thinking, Focus and Inclusiveness.
