A blacksmith has five iron articles A, B, C, D and E each having a different weight. A weighs twice as much as B.
B weighs four and a half times as much as C
C weighs half as much as D.
D weighs half as much as E.
E weighs less than A but more than C.
  1. Which of the following is the lightest in weight?

    Answer: Option C

    Just by combining all the conditions given in the question, you get the following relationship. C < D < E < A. After that as A is twice that of B, this means A is the highest.
