Selection Process
In case of job recruitment, selection is the process to choose potential working persons for a company or organization. Recruitment process includes a selection stage when decisions are made as to the viability of a particular candidate's job application. It directly affects the overall productivity of an organization. A right selection may increase the overall performance of a company & a wrong one may lead to material and financial loss. Candidates should go through a three stage selection process to get recruited in Calsoft:
- Written Exam
- Technical Round I
- Technical Round II
- HR Interview

Academic Criteria
- Minimum 65 percent throughout the degree.
- No backlogs should be there.
- Candidates should have passed their B.E. /B. Tech. in (CS/IT/ EE /EC) or MCA with 60% & above marks for PA post.

Test Description
- The total time allotted to the coding section is 120 minutes.
- Aptitude section consists of questions based on probability , Age , Average , Heights and Distances , Pipes and Cisterns , Speed problems , coding - decoding and work and time. Questions are also asked from logical reasoning
- Technical section consists of questions from topics such as C, C++, Data Structure, Java, DBMS and OS.
- Coding section consists of 3 questions which are to be done in 2 hours. Candidate can chose any language of his choice to write the programs.
- Overall the level of the paper is of moderate level. The candidates who clear the written exam only qualify for the next round.
Technical & HR Interview
Technical Interview
Questions related to specific technical fields are asked in this round. Questions may be based on specific knowledge about the company's technical activities; understanding of the technical work required to be completed as part of the job applied for or may enquire candidates to solve actual technical problems that they would be likely to face if employed.
HR Interview
Questions related to specific technical fields are asked in this round. Questions may be based on specific knowledge about the company's technical activities; understanding of the technical work required to be completed as part of the job applied for or may enquire candidates to solve actual technical problems that they would be likely to face if employed.
