Test Pattern & Selection Procedure of BEL

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) that comes under Ministry of Defense, Government of India. It has also earned status of Navratna. It was established in 1954 in Bangalore, India. The function of the company is that it manufactures advance electronic products for Indian Armed Forces. The BEL Test-Pattern and Selection Process is as follows:

Selection Process:

Company conducts recruitment process every year to select new candidates. It also selects candidates through GATE exam. The selection process of the company consists of 3 rounds. These rounds are as follows:

  • Written Exam/GATE EXAM
  • Technical Interview
  • HR Interview
Academic Criteria:
  • B.Tech (Electronics & Telecommunication , Mechanical , Electrical , Computer Science , Civil , Chemical).
  • 70 % in Graduation , X and XII.
  • No backlogs.

Time allotted for the written exam is 180 minutes to conduct the complete Paper of 65 Questions.
  • Aptitude section consists of questions based on data interpretation, graphs, blood relations, statement reasoning, etc. Also questions are asked from basic mathematics like speed distance time, algebra, arithmetic, probability, geometry, permutation combination, etc. Questions are also asked from English language like grammar usage, fill in the blanks, etc.
  • Technical section consists of questions from subjects of engineering.
Overall the level of the paper is moderate to difficult. Only those candidates who clear the written exam will qualify for the next round.
