Toyo Engineering Selection Process
Toyo Engineering conducts recruitment in a series of 3-4 rounds of selection. The campus recruitment procedure starts with 1-2 written tests, followed by two rounds of interview. The first interview takes place in the campus while the second interview is held at the company’s office. In case of direct online application, the candidate appears for similar two sets of interview. Given below is the description of each stage of Toyo Engineering recruitment process:

Eligibility Criteria
  • Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical/Civil Engineering or equivalent stream
  • Good knowledge of the relevant field
Written Tests
In the first stage, the candidate needs to pass an aptitude and a technical test. The aptitude test mostly comprises of questions from logical and verbal reasoning. The questions in the technical assessment are based on the subjects of respective engineering stream of the candidate. The second part is usually considered difficult as compared to technical tests of other companies. Total duration of the test varies from 1-1.5 hours.
HR Interview
Once the candidates qualify the written round, they are asked to appear for the HR interview. In this interview, the candidates are assessed on the basis of their personality traits, values, profile, extracurricular activities, and communication skills. The interview lasts for 15-30 minutes.
Technical Interview
After the candidates clear the HR interview, they are called for the final interview at the company’s office/assessment centre. Candidates are expected to have a good grasp on the fundamentals and the application-based technical concepts of their respective engineering stream. This interview is generally tough. Here, the candidates are evaluated for their technical skills, practical knowledge, experience and performance in projects/internships. The duration of this round varies from 30 to 45 minutes.
Apart from the above rounds, the process may include a short presentation test, depending upon the job profile.
