PayPal Recruitment Procedure
PayPal follows a 3-5 stage selection process to choose the right candidates for various roles. The process generally starts with an online test, followed by 2-3 rounds of interview. The panel looks for the qualities of flexibility, innovation and uniqueness in candidates. Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in B. Tech (CSE/ IT/ CSE with Bioinformatics)
- Minimum 7 CGPA in graduation.
- Minimum 70% in class X and XII.
- No arrears at the time of applying.
Online Round
In the first round, candidates are required to complete an online test. Usually, the test comprises of 2 sections that evaluate the aptitude skills and technical knowledge of the candidate. Given below is the test pattern of the online round:

The test duration is around 45-90 minutes, depending upon the number of questions. MCQs are based on basic mathematical concepts, logical reasoning, programming languages, data structures, algorithms, etc. In case the MCQ section is not present in the test, 2-3 programming questions are given. The difficulty level of test is easy to moderate.
Technical Rounds
Once the candidate qualifies the online round, he/she is called for technical interviews. There are 1-2 technical rounds of 30-45 minutes each. Here, the interview panel tries to assess the technical subject knowledge of the candidate. Some of the questions relate to the projects and internships mentioned in the candidate’s resume. In addition, the candidate may be asked to solve a few questions based on coding, algorithms, etc. The level of this round is moderate to difficult.
HR & Managerial Interviews
After clearing the technical rounds, the candidate is asked to appear for the final stage of selection. This round consists of 1-2 HR and Managerial interviews. The interviewers mainly ask questions related to candidate’s background, personal values, career goals, interests, etc. Also, the panel wants to check the candidate’s awareness of the company and job role.
