Informatica Recruitment Procedure
Informatica conducts 4-6 rounds to select appropriate candidates for various set of roles. During the shortlisting process, the selection panel looks for talent and learning abilities in candidates. The process starts with two written tests, followed by 3-4 rounds of interview. In case of direct applications, the candidate may have a few telephonic interviews before the final onsite interview. Eligibility Criteria
  • Minimum 65% in class 10th, 12th, graduation & post graduation (if applicable).
  • Graduation in B.Tech/B.E (CS/IT) or equivalent.
  • No current arrears.
Online Round
In the first round, candidates are required to appear for an online written test consisting of multiple choice questions. The online test comprises of 30 MCQs to be answered in 45 minutes. Questions are based on data structures, algorithms, operating systems, computer architecture, DBMS, C, C++ and networking. This round is of moderate in difficulty level and intends to check the technical aptitude of the candidates.
Coding Round
The qualified candidates of first round are eligible for the second written test. In this round, candidates are given 90 minutes to solve 4 coding questions. Candidates can choose the programming language of their choice. The level of the test is moderate to difficult. Those who are able to solve 2-3 questions are called for the round of interviews.
Technical Interviews
After the written tests, there are 2-3 rounds of technical interviews. Each interview lasts for 30-60 minutes. In these rounds, the panel tries to assess the technical subject knowledge of the candidate. Candidate is asked questions from data structures, operating systems, DBMS, etc. Also, the candidate is given a few questions to solve. Further, the panel asks questions related to training projects, internships and other information given in the candidate’s resume.
Managerial/HR Interviews
This is the final stage of selection process at Informatica. There are 1-2 rounds of HR/Managerial interviews. The time duration of each interview is around 30 minutes. Here, the candidate is probed on his/her personality traits, background, career plans, preferences, organizational skills, etc. In addition, candidate is asked to solve a few puzzle-based questions.
