Blackstone Selection Process
Blackstone follows a series of 3-5 rounds to recruit the right people for various job profiles. The firm focuses on talent, hard work and problem-solving skills of candidates. The process starts with 1-2 written tests, followed by 2-3 rounds of interviews. For direct applicants, a few telephonic interviews are conducted before they are called to assessment centre. Eligibility Criteria
  • Minimum 65% marks in class 10th and 12th
  • Minimum 6.5 CGPA in graduation
Written Round
In the first stage, the candidates are required to clear 1-2 written tests, depending on the profile applied for. Generally, the tests comprise of questions based on aptitude, verbal ability and technical subjects (programming/coding). The technical test is held in online mode. The level of these tests is usually difficult.
Technical Interview Round
Once the candidates qualify the written round, they are asked to appear for technical interviews. There are 1-2 rounds of technical interview. Each interview lasts for 30-40 minutes. In these interviews, the candidates are assessed for their knowledge of arrays, coding/programming, excel functions and other technical concepts. This round is moderate to difficult in nature.
HR Interview Round
This is the final stage of selection process at Blackstone. In this round, the candidates are called for 1-2 HR interviews. Here, the interviewers tend to gauge the personality traits of the candidates. Questions mainly relate to candidate’s background, work experience, projects, internships, personal experiences, etc. Also, the candidate may be asked to give opinions on some particular situations and scenarios.
