Online Tests
After the resume shortlisting, candidates are required to clear 1-2 online tests. Generally, Kearney conducts two types of online assessments: advanced numerical reasoning and critical thinking (known as Watson Glaser test). The Advanced Numerical Reasoning Appraisal consists of questions from quantitative aptitude, reasoning and business knowledge. This test is mainly held for management level candidates. The Watson Glaser test comprises of questions based on verbal ability, inferences, assumptions, arguments, deduction, and interpretation. Each test is made up of 30-40 questions to be solved in 30-40 minutes.
Case Interviews
Once the candidate passes the online tests, he/she is called for case interviews. Usually, there are 1-3 case interviews of 30-45 minutes each. The interviews may be telephonic/video/face-to-face. Here, the interviewers evaluate the problem-solving and creativity skills of the candidate. Questions are mostly situation/scenario-based, the candidate may be presented with some data/facts and then asked to give solutions and recommendations.
Behavioural Interviews
This interview round is easier compared to the case interview round. A total of 2-3 behavioural interviews are carried out in face-to-face/telephonic/video format. Each interview lasts for 30-45 minutes. The questions revolve around the information listed in candidate’s resume. The interviewers tend to assess the interpersonal skills of the candidate so as to predict his/her future performance.
