GATE is considered as one of the standard examinations for not only pursuing post graduation (M.S, M.Tech, ME, and PhD) but also get placed in a public sector firms and various research institutes. IITs, NITs, IISc, and various reputed colleges offer admission on the basis of GATE Score. It also provides a large number of opportunities for campus placements with attractive salary packages. Also, some colleges/ institutes consider GATE score as the necessary requirement for the admission without MHRD scholarship/assistantship.
