GATE is considered as one of the standard examinations for not only pursuing post graduation (M.S, M.Tech, ME, and PhD) but also get placed in public sector firms and various research institutes. IITs, NITs, IISc, and various reputed colleges offer admission on the basis of GATE Score. It also provides a large number of opportunities for campus placements with attractive salary packages. Also, some colleges/ institutes consider GATE score as the necessary requirement for the admission without MHRD scholarship/assistantship.
